ADA05 3.5mm 1/8″ Mono Plug to 2xRCA male Plug Audio Adapter
This 3.5mm mini Mono Plug to 2 x RCA male Adapter enables the user to connect two mono cables with RCA connectors to a device with a mono 1/8″ Jack input. This adapter is typically used as a signal splitter or combiner.
Combine Signals
For instances where left and right audio channels coming from a line level device (TV, CD player, DVD, Xbox) with RCA connectors, needs to be connected to a single mono input. The adapter will combine the two RCA channels into one signal with the characteristics from both. Though note, combining music in this way takes away the ‘stereo’ production.
Split Signals
The adapter can also be used to split a signal from a 1/8″ mono device into two separate and identical signals with RCA connectors.
